In a blockbuster move, star pitcher Trevor Bauer has inked a three-year contract worth $102 million with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The deal includes player options for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
Bauer, a former Cy Young Award winner, was one of the most sought-after free agents on the market. He joins a Dodgers team that is looking to contend for another World Series title after winning in 2020.
The Dodgers are now considered the heavy favorites to win the NL West in 2021. They have a strong lineup led by Mookie Betts, Cody Bellinger, and Corey Seager. The addition of Bauer gives them one of the best rotations in the league.
